Despite their fast food set up where you stand in line to order your food and then pick it up down the hall and take your tray to a table you hope you find, I found the food to be surprisingly good. It's a place I've known about for a long time and just passed by until recently, and now I'm glad I stopped in, and I look forward to going back. I recommend the turkey avocado BLT sandwich!

Popped in for lunch. My girlfriend just moved in so we are without wifi until Friday and I figured I would eat and cruise the web. Had a grilled cheese sandwich and tomato soup. Watched them use pannini press as the grill. Sandwich was ok. Soup wasn't bad. There are much better places and I prefer to support Mom and Pop businesses. At Panera you would think you know what you are getting. Nothing Great. Nothing bad. Or so I thought. So why only one star? Never in all the years I have gone to coffee shops/sandwich shops that offer free internet was I KICKED OFF because you only get one hour of surfing! Are you kidding me????? First of all, I purchased lunch AND coffee. Secondly, the place easily had 35-40% open tables. I decided to go one block away to the Starbucks. Yea, thats right. Starbucks is one block away on 1081 West Chester Pike in West Chester, PA 19382. Got a nice snack pack of fruit and cheese. Was greeted by the very awesome Kim who assured me they love my business and would NEVER kick me off the internet unless it wasn't working. Had a bottle of water. Never again Panera. Hello Starbucks! They won me over!

I was home for the weekend, and came here for a day of work with free WiFi along with Panera breakfast, coffee, and lunch. This location is very similar to other Panera locations, but a bit smaller. Compared to my regular Panera locations, this one feels a bit more jammed in and has fewer outlets available. Around lunchtime on the weekend, this place got PACKED, with a lot of kids. That being said, the food, coffee, and iced tea were tasty and similar to other locations- and the staff was friendly. Lastly, like all other Panera locations, I wish they served breakfast all day! I'd come back during a weekday to see if it was less crowded, but I'm not sure I'd return here to work on a Sunday. Other than that, solid location.

Yet another standard Panera Bread location. Clean location with friendly staff. The soup and sandwich - they never disappoint.

A dreamy place for a grad student who needs to do work, but not be in the library -- free wifi and awesome broccoli cheddar soup. So delish. Service is good, too.

Another consistent Panera location. I stopped in for breakfast with a coworker and had a great experience. The store was clean, the staff was friendly and the service was quick. I love that you can sit and hold a meeting with free WiFi for a little while too.

This place has the nicest people and the food it's always excellent. The fact that they donate the remaining food to local charities at the end of the day is reason enough for me to come back here.

The turkey cranberry flatbread is the best, I could eat it for lunch or dinner every single day!!! It is my absolute favorite

I didn't catch his name but the gentlemen who cleans up at Panera Bread is the nicest man in the world. I didn't catch is name but he was born in another country and has a long pony tail with several hair bands in it. I work from home with 2 children under 3 years old, today the power went out all day and I had to get some documents out for work. I came in there with a car seat in one arm and a 2 year old in the other hand and he saw my struggles and came to my rescue. He not only carried my drink to my table for me, he offered to pick up my food and deliver it to me!! AND he came over from time to time to entertain my son. He went above and beyond his job duties and I am extremely grateful for that!! I hope corporate reads these types of reviews and acknowledges an outstanding employee when they have one.

Panera bread is the shit, they we're open during the crazy storm that was going on when I was here. Grabbed the Broccoli n cheddar soups with a chicken panini. Both of which were absolutely amazing. I would recommend the soup, all my buddies love that too! Whenever I see a Panera around I always stop. Thanks!

I didn't give Panera a four-star rating in terms of the chain of restaurants itself, but this Panera in particular seems to be a cut above the rest. They are efficient with their ordering process, serving their food, and keeping the restaurant clean. I was particularly surprised to see that one of the workers was walking around from time to time clearing plates and trays from tables. Furthermore, while I was finishing up my lunch the manager came by and inquired how my meal had been. Finally, I was impressed when one of the workers stopped and picked up a straw paper from the floor as he was walking by. It seems like a small gesture, but I can't tell you how often workers definitely see something on the floor and just pass it by. I'm not sure if this Panera is better because of the quality of the workers, the quality of the management, or both, but they set themselves apart from other stores in this chain.

Great sandwiches made to order. Good variety of offerings and open for breakfast, lunch and dinner. I'm sure this won't be my last visit to a Panera location.

Panera of West Chester used to be noticeably better than other Panera locations. When you came here, you really felt at home. Especially as a regular. The employees seemed happy to be at work, the food was fresh and well made, service came with a smile and warm greetings, and it was always an all around pleasant experience. A couple of weeks ago there was a change in management, and the new manager (Amber) has really changed the place for the worse. Days she's there, the employees are noticeably less happy than days she isn't. The food isn't as fresh. Customers are just treated as customers and there is less of a "homey" or "welcoming" feeling. There's nothing particularly exceptional about Panera of West Chester anymore, and that makes me sad. This used to be one of my favorite establishments, but no longer.

I often stop at this Panera bread on my way home from work. It is in a convenient little shopping center right off of Route 3 in West Chester. I don't only stop here because of my desire for food, I continue to stop here because I have yet to find a friendlier Panera staff. Every single time I get to the counter I am greeted with a smile and an excellent customer relations demeanor. I also very much enjoy the food selection, and although I usually get the salads, I do have some favorites. They Include: Asiago Roast Beef Sandwich Sourdough Breadbowls French Onion Soup New England Clam Chowder BBQ Chopped Chicken Salad Steak and Blue Cheese Salad My only issue with this Panera is their 50% chance of having bread bowls at my typical 4 PM stop-in time, which vexes me because I love soup in bread bowls. I highly recommend this particular Panera to any local.

I stopped in to grab breakfast and had a sesame bagel with bacon, egg, and cheddar. It was toasty, perfectly crunchy on the outside with lovely grill marks, and flavorful (gotta love the cheddar!). The hazelnut coffee was a great complement. Service was very fast and conducted with a smile - a rarity in this age.
